Manchester City has its new recruit! She is already breaking a record (Official)

Manchester City formalized the arrival of Croatian defender Josko Gvardiol from RB Leipzig on Saturday.

It’s official ! Josko Gvardiol (21) joins the ranks of Manchester City. The reigning European champion announced the news this Saturday in a post on social networks, as well as a press release on the club’s website.

The Croatian international has signed a five-year contract with the Cityzens, i.e. until June 2028. The transaction was concluded for an amount of 90 million euros. The rock of Zagreb thus becomes the most expensive defender in the history of football, ahead of Harry Maguire who passed from Leicester to Manchester United for 87 million euros in 2019.
