OM striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang did not enjoy his stay at the London club at all.
Olympique de Marseille’s new centre-forward, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, believes he was never accepted at Chelsea. And, in fact, he does not regret at all having left the London team this summer.
Aubameyang does not regret Chelsea
Arrived from Barcelona, Aubameyang failed to live up to the Stamford Bridge side. And for him, it’s not necessarily his fault. “At Chelsea, there was a big difference compared to the way I was received at Barcelona, both in terms of the staff and the players”.
The Gabonese also regrets not having been able to work very long with Thomas Tuchel, the technician who was behind his arrival. “At Chelsea, the context was a little different, because my arrival was mainly thanks to Thomas Tuchel, sacked a week later”.
“So the context wasn’t the same and it wasn’t easy for me. It had its share of influence, then I think there were other problems which were not my fault, but of another nature. And I didn’t play much anymore…”added the neo-Olympian.
