Buffon’s new project unveiled

The president of the Italian football federation, Gabriele Gravina, has just made it known that he plans to speak with the former doorman of PSG. He wants him involved in the FIGC, given all the experience he has to pass on.

He stated : “Gigi is our goal but it’s not just up to us. Convincing Gianluca Vialli was difficult, but we managed to get one of the nicest people in football. Gigi has other characteristics, but he is an icon of world football and his natural project is to work in the national team”.

The boss of the Italian federation even assured that discussions have already been started in this direction: “We will do everything to bring him in, we are working on it and we are at a fairly advanced stage. »

Buffon has a great history with the Squadra Azzurra. In addition to his participation in the world title, he also has the distinction of having been international for 21 years and with a first cap honored at only 19 years old. He wore the azzurro jersey 176 times and took part in 9 major tournaments.
