The Spanish press is echoing this Friday a rumor that Nasser al-Khelaïfi wants revenge on Real Madrid, in connection with the Mbappé case.
A little over a year ago, when Kylian Mbappé extended two seasons (plus an optional one) with Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser al-Khelaïfi may not have considered the situation in which he and his club are found today in the file of the tricolor striker. After Mbappé refused to activate the famous optional third year, the Parisian president chose to put his star in the closet, hoping that this one finally decides to extend… or to leave this summer. Things still have not changed, Nasser al-Khelaïfi would be furious against Real Madrid and would have decided to prepare his revenge.
In any case, this is what the Spanish press believes. Sport for example explained that the Qatari boss, convinced that a secret agreement would have been made between Kylian Mbappé and Real Madrid for a free arrival in June 2024, wants to steal elements from Madrid to weaken the Casa Blanca. Several names were cited by the media, including those of the two Frenchmen Aurélien Tchouaméni and Eduardo Camavinga, but also Rodrygo and Nico Paz.

If he still secretly hopes to succeed in changing Kylian Mbappé’s mind, as he succeeded last year, Nasser al-Khelaïfi would therefore be particularly annoyed by the turn of events and, failing to be able to tip the scales and the reflection of Kylian Mbappé in his favor, he could therefore sting Real Madrid. So many suppositions to be taken with a grain of salt, however. In this case, everything is still possible.
