PSG has always had a special place in the mind of Ousmane Dembélé. His imminent arrival in the capital is therefore not due to chance.
This Friday, Ousmane Dembélé must pass his medical examination with Paris Saint-Germain and sign a five-year contract in stride. At the Rouge et Bleu, the French international should receive an annual salary of twenty million euros.
This departure from FC Barcelona for the reigning French champion would not, however, have been dictated solely by financial conditions. “PSG represents something for him. Guy Stéphan’s son rubbed shoulders with Ousmane Dembélé in the youth teams of Stade Rennais and seems to have kept in touch with him. “Ousmane has put a lot of things in place on a personal level with those around him to try to find some answers to the few physical glitches he may have had when he was at Barcelona. He has also matured a lot. He became a man with a sense of responsibility. I have no doubts that he can fit in well.”continues the former coach of Strasbourg.
