French international defender Axel Disasi has signed a deal with London club Chelsea.
And one more French central back at the Chelsea Blues! After Wesley Fofana and Benoit Badiashile, the London club got their hands on Axel Disasi. Announced a few days ago, this transfer became official this Friday after the Londoners paid 45 million euros.
Chelsea’s French contingent expands
The French international has signed a five-year contract with Chelsea, plus an optional year. He hopes to give new impetus to his career there, he who had a complicated end to his career with ASM.
Disasi is the Blues’ second most expensive signing this summer after compatriot Christopher Nkunku. And he is also the second player to land from Ligue 1 after Rennais Lesley Ugochukwu.

Having done most of the preparation with ASM, Disasi is on the attack to play now with his new team. He could be operational from the first league match, scheduled for August 13 against Liverpool. A sacred baptism of fire for the former Reims.
