The new Marseille coach, Marcelino, has largely modified his eleven for the opposition against Leverkusen on Wednesday.
For their last friendly outing of the off-season, OM challenge Bayer Leverkusen this Wednesday (at 8:45 p.m.). A meeting for which Marcelino, the Olympian coach, has lined up what looks like his ideal eleven.
Iliman Ndiaye already on deck
After numerous tests carried out during previous meetings, the Spanish coach seems to have decided on a typical team. And we find there in particular the newcomer, Iliman Ndiaye. Barely 24 hours after signing, the Senegalese finds himself in attack. And he is accompanied by his compatriot Ismaila Sarr, as well as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
In the middle, three elements have also been aligned. Geoffrey Kondogbia, who has given satisfaction since his arrival, will evolve alongside Jordan Veretout and Valentin Rongier. Mattéo Guendouzi continues, for his part, to polish the bench.
Behind, we notice the absence of Chancel Mbemba. The Congolese is announced on the departure and that is why it is the duo Gigot – Balerdi who will start in the axis. On the sides, we find Jonathan Clauss and Renan Lodi. The latter will make his first appearance with OM. Finally, in goal, it is Pau Lopez who is launched.
OM’s starting XI against Leverkusen:
Pau Lopez – Lodi, Balerdi, Gigot, Clauss – Kondogbia, Veretout, Rongier – Sarr, Aubameyang, Ndiaye.
