It’s been an eventful summer for Bayern Munich. The management wishes to offer colossal means to Thomas Tuchel, after a season during which the Bavarians came close to disaster in the Bundesliga, having to wait until the last day to steal the title from Borussia Dortmund. Kim Min-jae has already arrived for 50 million euros, while two safe bets in Germany, Konrad Laimer and Raphaël Guerreiro, have arrived for free. Kyle Walker is expected to be next as negotiations for Harry Kane are well underway.
But there have also been departures, with Sadio Mané, of course, but also Lucas Hernandez, a player who has been quite important in Bavaria in recent years. And another rather major player could leave: it’s Leon Goretzka. This is what indicates Sky Sport Germany this Wednesday, when the player would no longer be considered a potential holder by Thomas Tuchel. The German tactician would also push him towards the door to make room in the midfield.

Sky Sports reveals that the player wanted to stay at the start, but that he recently realized that he will not play a lot this season. Tuchel thus prefers to align a duo composed of Laimer and Kimmich in the axis, to which he wishes to add a world number 6 top. The places are therefore closed for Goretzka. The Mancunians have noted the name of the 28-year-old German international on their shopping list, and could therefore attack fairly quickly. Once the Hojlund case is settled, probably. The German publication say that West Ham are also interested in the player, but this should be more of a fantasy than a realistic lead…
