While Ousmane Dembélé is getting closer to Paris Saint-Germain every day, another FC Barcelona executive has also seen his name linked to a departure for the French capital. The midfielder of the Catalan club, Pedri, is indeed regularly cited as a priority target for Parisian leaders. However, unlike his French team-mate, the 20-year-old Spaniard has come out of silence to set the record straight and one thing is for sure, he doesn’t seem ready to leave Catalonia yet as he revealed during from an interview with La Vanguardia.
“I am not aware of the offers, my representatives are handling them. I focus on what concerns me, namely training, playing and enjoying. A lot of things would have to happen for me to leave this club, I would really have to feel very bad and disgusted. I think it’s unlikely. Barça is the club of my dreams and I want to stay for a long time.”, said Pedri in particular. The Spanish midfielder has therefore not yet planned to leave FC Barcelona during this summer transfer window.
