Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel does not seem to regret the departure of Senegalese striker Sadio Mané.
Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel has insisted he is sorry to see Sadio Mane go. However, he doesn’t seem to be crying too much.
Tuchel did not count on Mané
After just one season in Bavaria, the former Liverpool striker left Bayern for Al-Nassr last week. The former PSG coach had pushed him out indirectly by publicly taunting him.
“We said goodbye with a long hug, but sometimes that’s not quite appropriate. We were all sad, but we also laughed”Tuchel said on Tuesday.
“We have a good relationship. I can understand him being upset because it was an emotional moment. But it was the best decision to separate now”he added, as if to signify once again to the Senegalese star that he was not counting on her.
