Free since his departure from Marseille, the Chilean striker could relaunch within a cador of the continent.

To everyone’s surprise, Barcelona are planning to get their hands on their former striker, Alexis Sanchez. Xavi would welcome his former partner at the Blaugrana as a reinforcement.

Alexis Sanchez replacing Dembélé?

Alexis is free from any commitment after being released by Olympique de Marseille at the end of last season. His name has been mentioned for a return to the South American continent, but he may well bounce back to his former club.

Local journalist Josep Capdevila has told Mundo Deportivo that Barca want to re-sign Alexis. A one-year contract is being prepared for the Chilean, who would arrive to replace Ousmane Dembélé, who is expected at PSG.

Alexis left Barcelona in 2014 for a four-year spell at Arsenal, before being sold to Manchester United and returning to Italy with Inter Milan.
