A year before the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, the FFF dismissed coach Sylvain Ripoll.

One defeat too many for Sylvain Ripoll. Almost a month after the elimination of the France U23 team at Euro 2023, beaten by Ukraine (3-1), the French coach was asked to leave his post, we learned Monday from several sources.

The 51-year-old technician had been in place since May 2017. Under the baton of the Breton coach, the Bleuets achieved a semi-final at Euro 2019 as their best course.
