Over the past few weeks, Kylian Mbappé has been at the heart of Real Madrid’s transfer news.
Paris Saint-Germain recently transferred the 24-year-old, who has been heavily linked with Los Blancos, following his decision not to sign a new contract.
PSG are determined to sell Mbappé this summer, although Real Madrid would rather sign him as a free agent next summer. The situation will certainly unblock in the coming weeks, and more and more information indicates that an agreement could be reached instead.
Understandably, Carlo Ancelotti has been very tight-lipped on the subject, as has Dani Carvajal when asked about Mbappé after Real Madrid lost to Barcelona in the Clasico (3-0) (via Diario AS).
“We are not talking about Mbappé or anyone else. We are Real Madrid and we are talking about Real Madrid”.
Speculation will surely continue to linger around Real Madrid’s interest in Mbappe, but so far neither Ancelotti nor any of his first-team members are leaking anything.
