The Paris Saint-Germain transfer window continues to accelerate. While the Parisians have already recruited seven elements with Manuel Ugarte, Lucas Hernandez, Kang-in Lee, Xavi Simons, Milan Skriniar, Marco Asensio and Cher Ndour, an eighth player arrives in the French capital to occupy the position of goalkeeper of aim.
If Gianluigi Donnarumma (24) will remain Luis Enrique’s number one goalkeeper, Sergio Rico had a tragic summer with a fall from a horse that could have cost him his life. The 29-year-old goalkeeper now sees his career being called into question even if the latest news is reassuring. For his part, Keylor Navas, who has returned from a loan to Nottingham Forest, is announced as a starter.
A boost for the future
Faced with this, the Ile-de-France club reacted quickly and offered the transfer of a promising goalkeeper with Arnau Tenas. Free since this summer and the end of his contract with FC Barcelona, the 22-year-old player remains on a very good Euro U21 where he kept the goals for Spain until the final lost against England (1- 0).
The winner of Euro U19 2019 is therefore now a Paris Saint-Germain player, as the capital club announced in a press release: “Arnau Tenas joins Paris Saint-Germain for three seasons. Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announce the signing of Arnau Tenas. The 22-year-old goalkeeper has signed a contract until 2026 with the club.
