The departure of Cavani formalized by Valencia

This Saturday, Valencia announced the departure of Edinson Cavani, who should soon join Boca Juniors.

Edinson Cavani’s adventure in Europe is about to come to an end. After brilliant stints at Palermo, Napoli, Paris and Manchester United, the Uruguayan international joined Valencia last summer. But his stint with the Spanish club will last only one season, the time to score 7 goals in 28 matches in all competitions.

This Saturday, Valencia announced the termination of the 36-year-old player’s contract in a press release. “Valencia CF and Edinson Cavani have reached an agreement for the contractual separation of the Uruguayan striker”, can we read there. Free of any contract, the former Parisian should soon join Boca Juniors for a year and a half.
