Sergio Ramos must choose between Messi or Ronaldo

Sergio Ramos is expected to make a firm decision on his future in the coming weeks.

The veteran Spanish defender is currently free after leaving Paris Saint-Germain when his contract expired at the end of June.

Ramos was first linked with a possible transfer to Saudi Arabia and a potential link with his former Real Madrid team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo at the Al Nassr club.

However, interest from the Saudis has cooled and Ramos has not been convinced by a bold move to the Middle East, and his next step is unconfirmed.

According Mundo Deportivo, the most likely solution for Ramos in 2023 is to join Lionel Messi in MLS, with the Argentina international already in place at Inter Miami.

Current MLS champions Los Angeles FC are reportedly ready to make an offer for Ramos, at short notice, with the United States looking to respond to Saudi Arabia’s transfer spree this summer.
