Manchester City management is aware that the acquisition of Josko Gvardiol will not be a formality.

Manchester City’s quest for Josko Gvardiol is set to be resolved within the next two weeks. There was no common ground found but the desire of each camp is to be able to close the deal and move on.

Leipzig demands 100 million for Gvardiol

RB Leipzig would agree to find a solution to this file, because they want to move on in search of replacements. At the same time, he wants to recover as much money as possible on one of his best elements.

According to The Mail, City want to secure the Croatia international as soon as possible but they are struggling to reach an agreement with the German management. Leipzig want €100m for the Croatian while City aren’t ready to go that high right now.

City are set to launch another bid in the coming days, hoping it will go through. The transfer of Riyad Mahrez to the Saudi club Al Ahli could help the Sky Blues to raise the necessary funds for this transfer.
