This Friday, Olympique de Marseille unveiled the first words of Ismaïla Sarr as a player for the Marseille club.

Barely arrived at Olympique de Marseille, Ismaïla Sarr did not have time to rest. The Senegalese international started on Thursday when the Riviera club won against Waalwijk in a friendly match. Arriving to blast the Marseille attack, the former Watford player will be eagerly awaited at the Stade Vélodrome this season.

Ismaïla Sarr ambitious with OM

In an interview with club media, the 25-year-old spoke about his arrival in Marseille and his ambitions for the coming season. “I am very happy to join OM, which is one of the biggest clubs in the world, it makes me very happy, he confided. (My goal is to) ahelp my teammates and make sure we have the best season. Before (my arrival), I spoke with the coach, the president and the staff. Ismaïla Sarr will have a final preparation match against Leverkusen on Wednesday to adapt to his new team, before making his debut at the Stade Vélodrome on August 12 against the Stade de Reims.
