Olympique Lyonnais has very little room for maneuver for this summer transfer window.

Rejected by the DNCG, Olympique Lyonnais has reviewed its plans for this transfer window period. The Rhone club intended to bail out its coffers by capitalizing on the market value of its most highly rated players, but the very narrow margin for recruiting is prompting OL to review its positions.

Among the most highly rated players in the squad are young nuggets from Lyon formation such as striker Bradley Barcola, attacking midfielder Rayan Cherki or defender Castello Lukeba. The latter has long been in the sights of RB Leipzig, but the German club has bet on the Parisian titi El Chadaille Bitshiabu.

OL are reviewing their position!

According to information from L’Equipe, Olympique Lyonnais would no longer like to sell Castello Lukeba this summer. Aware of the difficulty of attracting a quality replacement, the leaders of the Rhone club would like to keep this player of the future, who was one of the rare satisfactions of last season. In his public speeches, Laurent Blanc has also insisted on keeping the player, who has always proclaimed his attachment to his training club.
In this case, a final reversal of the situation cannot however be ruled out. The Gazzetta dello Sport reports this week of a strong interest from Naples for the French international hope. But as things stand, Lukeba seems set to stay in Lyon.
