The Parisian management has finally resolved to put a price on Kylian Mbappé. And this risked discouraging many courtiers.
It’s done ! Kylian Mbappé has been placed by PSG on the list of players to be transferred and the price demanded for his release is now known. According to information from Spain this Friday, the Bondynois will be sold for a minimum amount of €250m.
Real know the value of Mbappé
The daily Marca says that Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the boss of the Ile-de-France club, is determined to recover as much money as possible from the sale of his star. Through this approach, he also wants to show the whole of Europe that he is capable of selling his best asset for an “astronomical” price and only one year from the expiry of his lease.
This message was mainly addressed to Real Madrid, which was precisely waiting for PSG to officially communicate the price for which it would be inclined to sell Mbappé. It was Fayza Lamari, the player’s mother, and Kia Joorabchian, an intermediary mandated by Paris, who informed the merengue management of the price.
Real has reason to be cooled by the demands of the French club. Breaking the world transfer record this year when they can have the France international for free next off-season doesn’t make much sense for the Castilians. This is why negotiations between the two clubs are currently at a standstill. It is not excluded, however, that things will unblock by the end of the transfer window. Provided of course that Paris lowers its claims.
