After the announcement of Przemyslaw Frankowski’s extension, RC Lens used the Star Wars way to formalize that of Brice Samba.

After its superb 2022-2023 season finished in 2nd place in Ligue 1, RC Lens inevitably attracts covetousness on the transfer market. Loïs Openda left for Leipzig (€43m), Seko Fofana for Al-Nassr (€25m), but other executives decided to stay.

This is the case of Przemyslaw Frankowski, whose extension until 2028 was formalized this Friday morning. The right piston will not be the only one to extend the adventure with the Sang et Or since, in the afternoon, the artesian club announced a second contract extension.

And not least! It is indeed the goalkeeper Brice Samba who has also extended his contract until 2028 with Lens. In a rather original way, with a video strongly inspired by Star Wars, the vice-champion of France has therefore announced the extension of his last rampart despite the interest of several foreign clubs. “After taking down the stars in May, planet Gaillette saw a parade of them this summer. If Yopenda (Openda) and Sekowalker (Seko Fofana) left its ranks, the galactic Obi-Wan Kenobrice (Brice Samba) did not switch to the dark side of the force”can we read in this video.

Having become a French international last season, the 29-year-old goalkeeper will therefore play in the Champions League for the first time in his career during the 2023-2024 season.
