England won 1-0 against Denmark on Friday, and at the same time qualified for the round of 16 of the 2023 World Cup.

After its inaugural success against Haiti (1-0), England confirmed against Denmark (1-0), this Friday, thus validating its ticket for the knockout stages of the World Cup.

The reigning European champions quickly opened the scoring with their nugget Lauren James (6th). A goal that will have been enough for their happiness despite a more difficult end to the match.

The English also lost their midfielder Keira Walsh, which was stretchered in the first half after a knee injury.
