After a fairly discreet start to the transfer window, OGC Nice is moving up a gear on the transfer market.

For a few months, there was this project to be behind PSG which today is no longer relevant for various reasons and in particular the fact that we have financial fair play which is complicated in France. We have recipes at OGC Nice which, for the moment, are not sufficient. We are going back to a very identified, very clear project, continues the boss of the Aiglonshe specified. We are going back to the fundamentals that we had in the past. »
These remarks, signed Jean-Pierre Rivère at the time of the enthronement of Francesco Farioli, suggested that OGC Nice wishes to reduce the airfoil after having proclaimed its ambitions a little too loudly for the past three seasons. But humility does not curb ambition. In the logic of its recent past, OGC Nice remains on the lookout for good moves at a lower cost. With this in mind, the Riviera club has completed an advantageous deal.

Mercato: Nice passes the second!

According to information from RMC Sport, Nice will secure the services of Jérémie Boga. An Ivorian international, this hard-hitting and powerful winger is about to open a new chapter in his career on the Côte d’Azur, after a spell at Atalanta. Boga should sign a 5-year contract with Nice, and would therefore be linked to the club until June 2028. In total, the Gym would pay compensation of 18 million euros to complete this transfer.
Boga’s arrival comes at a time when the club is clearly accelerating on the transfer market, as left-back Luca Pellegrini is also expected to arrive on loan from Juventus.
