Still as active on the transfer market, Marseille is about to finalize a 5th arrival.
OM never ceases to strengthen. In less than a week, the Marseille club brought in three new players (Renan Lodi, Aubameyang and Sarr) and a fourth may follow very soon.
OM renews its pair of goalkeepers
The Olympians are about to welcome a new goalkeeper. The Spaniard Ruben Blanco would land from Celta Vigo. An agreement has been reached between the two clubs, on the basis of compensation of €2m. This is revealed by the Iberian media Relevo.
Blanco already played for OM last season but it was in loan form. Substitute for Pau Lopez, he was able to participate in seven meetings. Management must have been pleased with the performance he delivered.
Marcelino, the new Marseille coach, will have it easy to manage the goalkeepers since he will have two compatriots under his thumb. It remains to be seen whether he intends to install a turnover or impose a hierarchy as his predecessor Igor Tudor did.
