The Franco-Spanish defender of Manchester City, Aymeric Laporte, could revive within another club of the English championship.
Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte is attracting interest from several Premier League outfits. His experience in this championship pleases the rivals of the Eastlands.
Laporte at the crossroads
Laporte is expected to leave City this summer and return to the Spanish league. Eventually, it may know another trajectory. Everton, West Ham and Crystal Palace are all interested in the Basque as transfer guru Ekrem Konur reveals.
Laporte, who has 22 caps with Spain, is under contract with Manchester City until the summer of 2025. However, Pep Guardiola, the team’s coach, does not rely too much on him. If there is a good offer for his services, he will be free to move.
The rear of La Roja must be careful about the destination he chooses. One year from the Euro in Germany, he must have the assurance of playing regularly or risk losing his place in the Iberian eleven. But we are not there yet and the new coach, De La Fuente, seems to trust him completely for the moment.
