PSG: Kylian Mbappé does not intend to be intimidated

In addition to the FC Barcelona rumor, the Kylian Mbappé soap opera has taken a new turn in recent days. While the tricolor striker has been excluded from the Asian tour of Paris Saint-Germain, the leaders of the Parisian club remain inflexible. Either the native of Bondy extends with the Red and Blue, or he will be sold during this summer transfer window. PSG has also received an XXL offer from Saudi Arabia for its French center forward and the management of the Ile-de-France team has even accepted this proposal.

However, a departure from the former Monegasque for the Middle East does not seem to be on the agenda knowing that the 24-year-old prodigy has no intention of being intimidated by the capital’s club staff. Indeed, if the offer received by the PSG leaders seems very enticing for them on paper, Kylian Mbappé must still give his agreement so that the operation and his transfer are carried out according to the rules of the art. And that still seems impossible at the moment knowing that the Saudi Pro League does not yet have a comparable influence to the European championships.

Kylian Mbappé is ready to wax the bench for as long as it takes

Even if the pressure from the Parisian management intensifies with the threat of keeping him on the PSG bench all season, Kylian Mbappé knows that it is indeed he who is in a position of strength in this file, as revealed by sources close to the player to our colleagues from Report. The latter notably explained to the Spanish media that the striker of the France team will assume the consequences of this decision even if he must therefore remain without playing as long as the Parisian club deems it necessary.

“These things only strengthen the resolve of the player, who has one year left on his unavoidable contract. If he has to stay on the bench, he will stay on the bench, we’ll see how long, because the Champions League is coming… if they win, great, but how can you have a player like that in the stands if it’s not going well…”, have also declared these same sources to our Spanish colleagues. Especially since the UNFP recently warned Paris Saint-Germain about its management of undesirables. For the only players’ union playing in France, the French striker’s contract must be respected. To be continued…
