Paris Saint-Germain are optimistic about their chances of signing Harry Kane from Tottenham this summer, despite interest from Bayern Munich.
While it was reported that Kane preferred to join Bayern and had little interest in a transfer to PSG, a new noise from RMC Sports claims the England captain hasn’t completely ruled out joining the French capital.
While Bayern have made two offers and Kane is said to have agreed personal terms with the club, he has yet to find a deal with the Ligue 1 champions.
However, the report claims that the Spurs striker tried to use PSG’s interest to secure a more lucrative contract with the Bundesliga giants.
A deal to sign Kane would cost PSG or Bayern €100m this summer, with just one year left on his contract. Spurs have offered their key player a new contract worth £400,000 a week but he hasn’t signed it yet and appears unwilling to do so as the transfer window opens.
