Valentin Castellanos signs for Lazio

We announced it to you exclusively on our site last week: after a great successful season on loan for Girona, Argentinian striker Valentin Castellanos is leaving New York FC to join Lazio, against a check of around 20 million euros. The duration of the contract was not disclosed.

“SS Lazio announces that it has definitively acquired the rights to the sports contract of player Castellanos Gimenez Valentin Mariano Josè, of Major League Soccer, who last season played in La Liga with Club Girona FC”, can we read in the press release of the Roman club. As a reminder, he had scored 14 goals – including a quadruple against Real Madrid – and 1 assist in 37 TCC games last season.
