French midfielder Adrien Rabiot explained why he chose to continue his career with Juventus.
Adrien Rabiot believes he has “unfinished business” at Juventus. This is what he said during the press conference he held this week, which followed the new contract signed by him with the Bianconeri.
Rabiot wants to bring Juventus back to the top
The former Parisian said he couldn’t leave Turin on failure: “The last two seasons without trophies have been difficult. I came here to win. Juventus is a great club that has always won and will win again in the future”.
Rabiot went further by saying that he will do everything to help the Old Lady find the heights: “Two years without a trophy is a long time for a club like Juve. The goal this year is to win, I stayed for that too, to train the team to win the Scudetto, the cup. I want to bring Juventus back to where they belong. Then I felt I hadn’t finished my job here. When I arrived here, we played the Champions League and we won the Scudetto, and I want to relive those emotions.
He then concluded by confiding that if he stayed it was also because he felt very well on Piedmontese soil and that he did not particularly want to move. “I feel very comfortable here, I feel good here. When you go somewhere else, you don’t know what you’re going to find. Here I have found an environment that I like, the people on and off the pitch are amazing. It was a choice of the heart and I didn’t want to leave it all behind me. The work does not stop there for me, there are many things to do, which we must improve. I think I can still improve. It is for these reasons that I stayed at Juventus”.
