Manuel Ugarte should take his first steps in a match with PSG this afternoon during a friendly against Le Havre at the Poissy training center. The 22-year-old midfielder is one of the new Parisian faces this summer and will be closely scrutinized, in particular because of the amount of his transfer: 60 M€.
Sporting will not receive all of this sum since part of it will go to its training club, Centro Atlético Fénix. The Uruguayan team had sold its player for €9m to Famalicão in January 2021 and will still recover €5.2m, according to its secretary general, Álvaro Chijane, thanks to the capital gain realized.
