The son of Nicolas Anelka joins the training center of Paris Saint-Germain.
Paris Saint-Germain announced on Friday the entry of sixteen new players into its training center for the 2023-2024 season. This is the 2008 formation, and within it there is an element whose surname is evocative. This is Kais Anelka, the son of former French international Nicolas Anelka.
A precocious talent, Nicolas Anelka started with the professionals at just 16 years old, in 1996. He joined Arsène Wenger’s Arsenal in 1997, before signing for Real Madrid in 1999. In the summer of 2000, the native of Trappes was bought by PSG for a record sum at the time, 220 million francs, or around 34 million euros.
Born in 2008, Kaïs Anelka also plays as a striker. Unlike most other players of his generation, he did not come from the PSG pre-training center, and will therefore wear the Parisian colors for the first time. He has signed a contract with the capital club, and will therefore have to prove himself.
