Giulia Gwinn, the female star of Bayern Munich, has explained why she refused to do a nude cover for Playboy magazine.
German midfielder Giulia Gwinn has revealed she was offered to take part in a nude photo shoot for Playboy to promote the FIFA Women’s World Cup, but chose to decline the offer. Instead, she is hoping to make an impression on the pitch, although she will miss the tournament through injury, with Germany set to face Morocco, Colombia and South Korea in their group.
In an interview with AS, Gwinn said: “I respect Playboy as a journalistic product, but I prefer to present myself as a footballer on the pitch.
” In general, I think and hope that we will have much more exciting and important topics to discuss, especially now with the World Cup.
Gwinn was hoping to make Germany’s World Cup squad, but she failed to recover in time from a cruciate ligament injury.
