Failed by the DNCG, Olympique Lyonnais is going through a very turbulent off-season.

The information cast a chill over the OL transfer window. Failed once again by the DNCG, the Rhone club has a very narrow financial margin for its short-term future. A framing which provoked the cold anger of John Textor, ironic when commenting on this passage in front of the financial policeman of French football.

Carpet in the shadows since his sidelining last May, Jean-Michel Aulas broke the silence this Wednesday by sliding a strong tackle to his successor. “ Me, I have never been worried by the DNCG. I have never had any problem in 35 years of presidency. So far, the DNCG has always congratulated us on our management,” dropped the former OL boss in L’Equipe, while refusing to act in his interest.

Aulas-Textor: Riolo throws everything!

Called to comment on this file, Daniel Riolo believes that Jean-Michel Aulas would be in a logic of personal revenge after being disappointed with the brutality of John Textor to record his end of reign. “Aulas acts behind the scenes to denigrate OL to the DNCG, I tell you it’s true. The way he got kicked out sticks in his throat. He is above all a businessman, I think that if he can lather, he will lather and I believe that he lathers. We must look closely at why the DNCG refused to lift the constraints against OL. The team won’t move because now everything is frozen and even if you make a big sale it won’t change anything in the way you are supervised. This decision by the DNCG is very complicated to understand”.

The RMC journalist even went further in his thinking. “I really believe in Jean-Michel Aulas’ board soaping, I’ve been hearing that for quite some time. The skillfully orchestrated communication with the interview which falls just after the decision where Aulas says that he knows everyone in French football while Textor did not know how to do it. I think that behind this story we have a big settling of scores in preparation for OL” concluded Riolo in After Foot.
