Napoli coach, Frenchman Rudi Garcia, spoke on Monday about the future of his Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.
Rudi Garcia, the coach of Naples, made it known during his last intervention that he was indeed counting on Victor Osimhen during the coming exercise.
Garcia confident for Osimhen
The Nigerian striker has been the subject of many requests this summer. In search of a quality nine, PSG, Bayern Munich and also Manchester United have all sought to sign him. But, for now, he is still with the Partenopei.
And according to Rudi Garcia, the status quo may well persist until the end of the transfer window: “He is under contract, he arrives tomorrow like everyone else. When I saw the president, we were on the same wavelength in terms of ambition. He did great things last year and doesn’t want to stop. We will have a quality team”.
Naples has, as a reminder, revised its requirements upwards for its goleador. While they only wanted €150m for his services at first, they are now asking for €200m. “A price that only PSG is able to pay,” according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
