He is the priority of the Blues’ summer transfer window. Moisés Caicedo, 21, is Todd Boehly’s main target to replace N’Golo Kanté, who left for Saudi Arabia. Good in projection and endowed with a large volume of play, the Ecuadorian has all the qualities to perfectly supplement a player like Enzo Fernandez. But this kind of profile comes at a price, and the Seagulls hope to draw inspiration from West Ham to get the jackpot for their midfielder.

After making a first offer of €60m, refused by Brighton, the Blues returned to the charge by offering €70m on Tuesday according to The Athletic. Proposal which still does not suit the Seagulls, aiming instead for 90 M €. If Moisés Caicedo already imagines himself in blue, his club will give him no gift. For now, the midfielder is with the rest of the squad to carry out the pre-season in the United States, while waiting for Chelsea to find an agreement with the Seagulls.
