Bayern Munich has just secured the services of one of the players coveted by PSG.

Bayern Munich have made their first summer purchase. Against an amount of 50M€, the reigning German champions recruited Kim-Min Jae, the back of Naples. A significant investment, but such a sum was necessary in order to be able to pull the rug out from under the feet of the competition. A competition embodied in particular by the PSG.

Bayern make a big bet

The Ile-de-France club actually had its sights on the South Korean central defender. Nevertheless, Luis Campos and his hierarchy did not insist enough on his coming. The price demanded by Naples was also too high in their eyes.

By the end of the transfer market, Bayern could also be ahead of Paris on other tracks. The two teams jointly solicit Harry Kane and Victor Osimhen.

Note that with the price he cost, Kim Min-Jae becomes the most expensive South Korean player in history. He dislodges Son Heung-Min, the center forward of Tottenham and who had been transferred for 30 million euros.

Kim Min-Jae’s tenure with the Bavarians is five years. His arrival somewhat fills the hole left by Lucas Hernandez and possibly that of Benjamin Pavard, as the former French international is close to leaving.
