PSG will pocket a very nice check for their summer tour in Japan.
Like last summer, Paris Saint-Germain chose Japan for its traditional summer tour. In the Land of the Rising Sun, Luis Enrique’s men will have three friendly matches on the program: against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr (July 25), Cerezo Osaka (July 28) and Inter Milan (August 1).
And despite the departure of star Lionel Messi, this Japanese tour will bring even more money to PSG. According to the newspaper The Team, the champions of France will pocket a little more than 20 million euros. Last year, the Rouge et Bleu pocketed around 12 million euros. It must be said that the capital club remains attractive with the presence in its ranks of Kylian Mbappé and Neymar.
A jackpot never seen before
“This jackpot, which makes this tour one of the most – if not – the most lucrative ever seen for a football club”, specifies the sports daily. An amount that could even be higher if the Ile-de-France team decides to make a small detour to South Korea in early August.
As a reminder, the Parisians returned to training last Monday and will play their first pre-season friendly match on Friday against Le Havre, freshly promoted to L1. Note that the meeting will take place in the brand new PSG training center in Poissy.
