Paris Saint-Germain are ready to make Tottenham an offer they can’t refuse to sign Harry Kane, as they vie with Bayern Munich for the striker.
With interest known from Bayern, who have made two offers for Kane, PSG are pushing to negotiate personal terms with the England captain before initiating a potential offer. Foot Mercato reports that if he succeeds, PSG will then present an offer which Spurs cannot reject.
Kane’s contract expires next summer but reports from England suggest Spurs are asking for £120million even if his contract runs out. It remains to be seen whether PSG would be willing to match that amount as such a figure could only be reached if the club sells Kylian Mbappé this summer.
Kane is currently in Australia with Spurs for pre-season but Bayern Munich honorary chairman Uli Hoeness has said his club are confident of reaching an agreement to sign him.
The British striker is expected to take part in Spurs’ friendly against West Ham on Tuesday.
