Olympique de Marseille does not intend to spare the three players it considers undesirable.

The “lofters” in Marseille are not reality TV! OM leaders have decided to sideline three players from the squad, sometimes using the hard way. According ProvenceJordan Amavi, Pol Lirola and Konrad de la Fuente, who were not called up for the friendly match played on Saturday against Nîmes (2-0 victory, thanks to a double from Vitinha), train on the sidelines of the professional group and see their daily lives become seriously complicated.

The regional daily actually says that the French left-back, the Spanish right-back and the American international winger, all income from inconclusive loans, respectively to Getafe, Elche and Olympiakos, no longer even have access to the parking lot reserved for players of the team recently coached by Marcelino. Their vehicle, these three undesirables are now asked to park it in the places provided for the other employees of the club. “Away from the locker room”describes the newspaper.

Why give them such treatment? “Because we decided so”, dryly replied the Marseille management, who wants them to understand that their future lies elsewhere. Problem, only Pol Lirola, under contract until 2026, would have keys in Italy, his advisers trying to revive him on the side of Juventus, Sassuolo or Fiorentina, where the Sky and White had poached him for 13 million euros in January 2021. For the other two, the courtiers do not jostle.
