While Manchester City seemed resistant to the idea of parting with Bernardo Silva, the deal has changed. From now on, the English club would be willing to sell the Portuguese to PSG in the event of a significant offer.

For two months now, Paris Saint-Germain have made Bernardo Silva their recruitment priority for the coming season. In the last few days this trail seemed to have cooled down a bit. It would be nothing.

According Foot Mercato, Manchester City would now be ready to sell the Portuguese international to the capital club. This was not the case until recently. The Citizens have tried to extend the contract of the former Monegasque, which runs until June 2025. They have even already received an offer from the reigning French champion, deemed insufficient. The value of Bernardo Silva is estimated at around 80 million euros, but the leaders of the English formation could demand a higher amount for his transfer.

To facilitate the transaction, PSG tried to offer several players: Verratti, Donnarumma and Kimpembe. In vain. Manchester City seems to want to recover only cash in this operation. Jorge Mendes, the 28-year-old left-handed player’s agent, is said to be pushing internally for the transfer to go through. His proximity to his compatriot Luis Campos could facilitate the Lisbon native’s arrival with the Red and Blue.
