Inter would no longer consider a return of Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian center-forward would have greatly disappointed the Milanese leaders.
Awkward finalist in the last Champions League, Manchester City-Inter (1-0), Romelu Lukaku is unlikely to wear the Nerazzurri jersey again. That’s what it says Sky Italia.
To have come into contact with Juventus, historic rival of the Nerazzurri in Serie A, the Belgian international (108 caps – 75 goals) would have offended the Milanese leaders.
The latter would have passed the message to the center forward of Chelsea.
Lukaku was recruited by Inter in 2019 before being sold in 2021, for 113 million euros, to Chelsea. The Blues then loaned the ex-Manchester United to… Inter in 2022-2023.
Since July 1, the 30-year-old has been back in London where he is bound by contract until 2026.
