After the end of his adventure with Manchester United, the Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea should bounce back in a new championship.
David De Gea announced last week that he would not be renewing his contract with Manchester United, ending a 12-year spell with the Old Trafford side.
From Gea to an exotic destination
The 32-year-old Spaniard is currently considering his next trip and Turkish media say Fenerbahçe Istanbul are in contact with him and his representatives.
As there is no compensation to pay, Fener are confident of reaching an agreement with the seasoned Iberian goalkeeper. The Istanbulites should still be wary because the now ex-Mancunian also has courtiers in the Saudi Pro League.
Whether in Istanbul or on Saudi soil, De Gea would say goodbye to the highest European level. Nevertheless, if he opts for the Turkish solution, he will be able to continue to play in the European Cup. The “Canaries” are vice-champions of their countries and they will play the preliminary round of the Champions League.
It should be noted, however, that the last players to have left the Premier League for the Turkish Super Lig did not enjoy immense success, like Dele Alli or Daniel Sturridge.
