Argentinian genius Lionel Messi touched on some interesting topics in an interview with Argentinian media.

Leo Messi, who has just signed at Inter Miami after two years in Paris, assures that he has no defined retirement plan. He also dwelt on those who have criticized him and his teammates in the past.

Messi doesn’t want to worry anymore

The former Parisian, who is therefore preparing to discover the third club of his career, was asked about the date on which he will hang up his crampons. He told TV Publica: “I don’t even know when. I think it will happen when it has to happen.”

The seven-time Ballon d’Or has won everything during his career. Now he just wants to have fun: “All that remains is to enjoy. God will decide when the time is right.”

“Logically and given my age, it’s not very far, but I don’t know exactly when. When I retire, I will appreciate all of this (what he has achieved) a lot more”added La Pulga.

Messi also spoke about beating the ‘haters’ in Argentina after winning the World Cup. “We received a lot of criticism, especially barbarism, because they were talking about things that had nothing to do with football. They crossed the line of disrespect, which was wrong. Even if they didn’t tell me, I know my family suffered too”.
