Vamos media report that Renan Lodi is very close to signing for Marseille.
Atletico Madrid have been very active in the transfer market since the start of the summer, adding Javi Galan, Caglar Soyuncu, Cesar Azpilicueta and Santiago Mourino to Diego Simeone’s squad ahead of the new LaLiga season, which will begin next month.
While the club has managed to bring in players, it has struggled to sell current squad members. Joao Felix and Renan Lodi are two players Atletico are trying to sell this summer, without success so far.
Luck might turn, however, because Let’s go reports that Lodi is very close to signing for Marseille. The French team has submitted an offer of between 15 and 20 million euros for the Brazilian international left-back.

Atletico had set a price tag of around €20m for Lodi so it’s likely he’ll accept Marseille’s offer. It is therefore likely that they will accept Marseille’s offer and a deal will be done quite soon.
This news is very positive for Atlético de Madrid, and the funds generated should help them sign a new defensive midfielder.
