Wissam Ben Yedder is under investigation for sexual assault and rape.
The AS Monaco striker and his brother are accused by two young women, aged 19 and 20, of having imposed sexual acts on them. According franceinfowho quotes a source familiar with the matter, the former Toulouse player would have committed these misdeeds at the start of the week.
Wissam Ben Yedder was on vacation on the Côte d’Azur, in the Alpes-Maritimes. An evening spent in the company of his brother and the two young women would have gone wrong. At the end of this, two complaints were filed: one against the footballer, the other against the member of his family. At the moment, the investigation is at the investigation stage. No hearing or custody of the defendants took place.
Last April, Wissam Ben Yedder was sentenced by the Spanish courts to 6 months and one day in prison as well as a fine of approximately 133,800 euros for tax evasion. The native of Sarcelles had defrauded the tax authorities and concealed part of his income during his time at Sevilla FC between 2016 and 2019. He also allegedly falsified certain documents, according to the Iberian press.
