This ex-Barcelona is none other than Thiago Alcantara. The Spanish international is said to be in the process of leaving for Liverpool and the Spanish champion club is seriously considering repatriating him. The interest in Mazinho’s son would also be explained by the presence of Xavi on the bench. The latter knows Thiago Alcantara very well for having been his teammate for four years (between 2009 and 2013). The two men have even been lined up side by side on numerous occasions.

FC Barcelona is not the only club to eye the ex-Bayern Munich player. Istanbul’s Galatasaray Turks are also interested.
