According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are in talks with a Saudi Arabian club for the transfer of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Leaving Arsenal in January 2022 for FC Barcelona, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang returned nine months later to London on the side of Chelsea. A comeback in the Premier League which was far from being the most successful for the Gabonese international, only author of 3 goals and an assist in 21 matches in all competitions.
And if we are to believe Fabrizio Romano, the former Gunner would now be pushed out by the leaders of the London club who would consider selling him to a formation from Saudi Arabia. The transfer window specialist asserting on Twitter that “negotiations are still ongoing with the club trying to get this done, talks are not yet in the final stages”.

However, despite an estimated value of only 4 million euros per Transfermarkt, the former Stéphanois would still enjoy great popularity within the Old Continent. Several European teams would, in fact, be interested in the idea of securing his services.
The only problem is his salary, which is considered far too high by his courtiers. It now remains to be seen whether the Laval resident will resolve to lower his salary or opt for a golden exile like many others.
As a reminder, the Gulf country has already registered several transfers from Chelsea: Edouard Mendy (Al Ahli), N’Golo Kanté (Al-Ittihad), and Kalidou Koulibaly (Al-Hilal).
