A new conviction for Andrea Agnelli: the former president of Juventus was sanctioned by the National Federal Court, chaired by Carlo Sica, sanctioned with a 16-month ban and a fine of 60,000 euros as part of the procedure concerning salary manoeuvres, relations with agents and partnerships with other clubs. His overall penalty thus rises to a total of 40 months of inhibition with those already imposed on him in the capital gains case.

This sanction of the National Federal Court was applied to condemn the former president of the Bianconeri in the second trial of the investigation targeting Juve, that concerning the two famous salary maneuvers of the Covid seasons (2019-2020 and 2020-2021). This is a first instance sentence and now the defense can decide whether or not to appeal the decision to the Court of Appeal. The case is the same that led to the first criminal sanction against Juventus: a fine of 718,000 euros but without further penalty points after the -10 pts decided for the first trial, concerning capital gains.
