France Football reveals the full ranking of the French player of the season

Like every year, the magazine France Soccer has fun ranking the best French players of the season. The 2022-2023 campaign is no exception to the rule, which will have been marked by the incredible World Cup in Qatar, won under the nose and beard of the France team by Lionel Messi’s Argentina. Unsurprisingly, Kylian Mbappé crushes the ballot with 115 points received, 70 more than his runner-up Karim Benzema. Author of a fantastic season on a personal level, the star of Paris Saint-Germain will once again have been sparkling with the Blues during the World Cup. Despite his hat-trick in the final against the Albiceleste, the former Monegasque could not avoid the defeat of his team on penalties.

Behind Kylian Mbappé, we find Karim Benzema, second best Frenchman of the year according to France Soccer.
