Saudi club Al-Ettifaq are reportedly monitoring the situation of Liverpool’s iconic captain Jordan Henderson.

The Saudi championship, which will resume on August 11, will have a very different face from recent seasons, and undoubtedly many more spectators and TV viewers. The fault of a particularly turbulent summer transfer window during which many great players from the European championships arrived. Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kanté joined Al-Ittihad, Édouard Mendy joined Al-Ahli, Marcelo Brozovic joined Al-Nassr, Ruben Neves joined Al-Hilal. Arrivals that followed that of Cristiano Ronaldo (in Al-Nassr) at the end of December 2022.

The next arrival could be that of Jordan Henderson (33). Under contract until 2025 with Liverpool, the emblematic captain of the Reds would be in the sights of Al-Ettifaq, 7th last season, if we believe the information of the Telegram. After 12 years evolving on the banks of the Mersey, the English international could therefore change air and offer himself a nice contract to end his career, although no offer has been sent for the moment. He could find a certain Steven Gerrard on the bench there.
